On 30th September, our Spiritual Council led a whole school assembly on Extraordinary Mission Month.
Pope Francis has declared that October 2019 will be a special month of prayer and action to strengthen and grow God’s mission through the Church. The spiritual council informed the whole school that they can learn a lot from missionaries living on earth today.
In October, we will be welcoming Dr. James Trewby to St. Mark’s, he is a columban missionary and he will be visiting St. Mark’s to speak to the children about the important work the columban missionaries do, and inspire them to help others.
