On Thursday 14th November, Year 6 ran a bingo event for the elderly in our community. It was a fantastic evening, where Year 6, the whole of St Mark’s community and residents from Grove Court and Homelands came together.
We played bingo, had a raffle and sold poppies for the British Legion. Derek (from Grove Court) bought his bingo number machine and taught Blair how to use it. They met at a previous event and have developed a lovely friendship.
Year 6 made everyone there feel very welcome and it was a very fun evening—enjoyed by all!
